Poynton Rotary held a Family Fun Day at the Community Centre in Poynton. Admission was by donation with all proceeds going to End Polio Now.
Model train layouts and systems were shown by the Romiley Methodist Railway Modellers and friends. Our young and not so young visitors had lots of fun operating some of these systems. There was also a sale of railway models, magazines and also refreshments available.
There were some other exhibits or demonstrations from the Poynton Anson Museum and the Poynton Marionettes Theatre Company.
