Party In The Park – History

After ten successive years in Alderley Edge, this fantastic Brass & Beatles event changed location for 24th June 2006 to the beautiful lakeside setting of Poynton Park, and run by Poynton Rotary Club.  The park boasts a picturesque wildlife lake, which provides an ideal backdrop for the stage, fronted by pasture giving a perfect area for picnicking and enjoying a few drinks whilst partying to our fabulous entertainers. In this first year, 2006, the event raised over £15,000 which was distributed to the East Cheshire Hospice, Francis house, the Royal Schools for the Deaf, and many other deserving causes.
